Think a 30 challenge is tough? How about 1,000 days?! That's right folks, you read that correctly. Our fellow yogis in Canada recently shared the story of one gentleman who went from walking with a cane to completing a 1,000 day Bikram Yoga challenge. We found it so inspirational that we just had to share the story.
Despite an arthritic condition, Bikram Yoga helped this gentleman discontinue his use of medication in a fused knee. On the contrary, he's mastered Standing Head To Knee. What's more, the pain in his shoulders, wrists and elbows has decreased so much that he can almost ignore them!
Although this gentleman is quite an inspiration, we hear that his goal was never perfection. Guess he knows that age old philosophy...it's yoga practice, not yoga perfect.
